Hello and Welcome to the Tombow USA and Die-Namites Blog Hop!

You probably got here from Pam Bray’s blog, but if you stumbled across my blog go theTombow USA Blog to start!

I have this super cute card to share with you today.
I started by using a marker spritzer air tool with a Tombow Dual Brush Pen (bright green) to get that spray ink effect on the background.  Next, I cut my die cuts.  I used Die-Namites Swirly Butterfly and Bird Wreath dies.  They are so pretty and intricate!  Love them!  I die cut them both in 2 different colors, lime green and purple.  I cut pieces of each diecut and glued all of the die cuts and pieces to the card with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.  Adding some green swirls to the purple butterfly is so fun!  I attached the purple bird on the green bird wreath with a Tombow Foam Tab so he would pop up.

Here is what you can win!

TOMBOW AND CLEARSNAP BLOG HOP!

Hello and Welcome to the Tombow USA and Clearsnap Blog Hop! For this hop we got together products that were made for each other: Tombow Adhesives and Clearsnap Foils! I bet you want to join in the Foil trend so in this hop we will show easy, affordable and fun ways to do it, so stick with us for the next two days!

You probably got here from Jennifer Priest's Blog, but if you stumbled across my blog go the Tombow USA Blog (on Friday)/ Clearsnap Blog (On Saturday) to start!

I have a super fun and easy gift tag to share with you!

I gathered  my supplies.  I sprayed my paper first with Clearsnap Spritzers "Lemon Drops".  Isn't it so pretty!  Then, I got out my Clearsnap Art Screen, Clearsnap Designer Foils, and Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.

I taped my art screen on top of my paper.  I put a stripe of Mono Multi Glue across the top and used an old gift card to spread it over the art screen.  I removed the tape and art screen right away and cleaned my art screen with a baby wipe to remove the glue.

Let the glue dry for 5-10 minutes.  Tombow's Mono Multi Liquid Glue dries tacky so it is perfect for applying foils.  I laid a few sheets on top of the glue and pulled it off.  I removed the last piece to show you.

To add more fun to my tag and my foils, I added some of the New Tombow Adhesive Dots and added glitter to them.  Such a fun way to embellish!

Here is the prize pack you could win!

To win, visit and comment on the participating blog posts. You have until April 21 at 11:59 EST to comment. A winner will be picked randomly and announced on April 22 2015.

MIXED MEDIA TUTORIAL ON THE BELLA BLOG

I love making my own mixed media backgrounds.  Patterned paper is wonderful of course, but making your own designs is super fun and will always be the perfect fit for your work.

By making my own mixed media background I was able to make 2 cards, 2 tags and 2 ATC's.  I can leave them like this, or continue to build on them or embellish them.

I have a full tutorial on the Bella Crafts Quarterly Blog today.  I hope you will check it out and enjoy making your own mixed media backgrounds.  I can't wait to see what you make!

THE WIZARD OF OZ CARD

A couple of weeks ago I won a prize on Terri Sproul's Tuesday night live show.  She has a free art journal/canvas show every Tuesday.  Check out her Facebook Page All Things Terri Sproul to find out more.

I won that prize for knowing some Wizard of Oz trivia.  So I thought I would make this card using the Wizard and Dorothy 2 stamp set from SinCity Stamps.

Supplies:

I gathered my supplies to start.  I picked a gold flecked paper and a pretty floral paper.  I found this piece of a glitter die cut paper in my "stash basket" (which is so full it will soon be a stash box because there is so much leftovers and papers and stuff in it).  I thought the red glitter die cut had to be used to represent Dorothy's Ruby Slippers.

Next, I cut the papers and stamped the images.

I colored the image in with my markers.  I love the highlight the stamp makes on the tablecloth.

To finish, I cut the die cut apart and added it behind the paper and on the card front.

I hope you make something awesome today!  Something that commemorates something that made you super happy, like winning a prize.

Please click the links to the SinCity Stamps store.  There is so much awesomeness there, you will want it all!!

TOMBOW AND PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO BLOG HOP

Hi and Welcome to the Tombow USA and Pretty Little Studio Blog Hop! Get ready for two days of beautiful vintage inspiration! You probably came here from Agnieska Piskorz's blog but if you happened to stumble across my blog go to the Tombow USA Blog (on Friday) Pretty Little Studio (On Saturday) to start!

I used products from both companies to make this gift box filled with note cards.

I started by painting a box that I had with white paint.  I picked a paper from the Pretty Little Studio Marigold Paper Pack (8" x 8").  I cut the paper to fit my box and adhered it with Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.

I thought the Pretty Little Studio Gold City Paper was awesome for the lid.  I cut the paper to fit and adhered it to the top of the lid with the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive and the sides of the lid with Tombow's Mono Aqua Glue.

To embellish my lid, I used several products from Pretty Little Studio.  I adhered the orange striped feather from the Marigold Feathers Diecuts with Mono Aqua Liquid Glue directly to the lid.  Next I added some gauze with the same glue.  Then, I added the California Poppy Vintage Diecut and the Orange Poppy #3 Vintage Diecut to the lid using Tombow 3-D Foam Tabs.  I added a few more feathers and topped it off with a Monarch Die Cut.  I finished with 3 resin flowers.

Inside, I filled it with note cards.  I used Pretty Little Studio You and Me 6"x4" paper pack to make the cards.  I folded the paper in the center and embellished each card.  These 2 cards have some of the Marigold Diecut FeathersVintage Diecut Orange Butterfly and Gold Metallic Note Flags, all from Pretty Little Studio, and adhered them with Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive.

Here are more of the note cards.  They are all made with the You and Me 6" x 4" paper pack, the Marigold Feather Diecuts and the Neapolitan 5 cent diecuts.

To win, visit and comment on the participating blog posts. You have until April 14 at 11:59 EST to comment. A winner will be picked randomly and announced on April 15 2015.

The Tombow USA prize includes: Tombow Xtreme Adhesive, NEW Tombow Adhesive Dots, NEW Tombow Foam Tape and the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue!

HAPPY EASTER!

Moxxie has the  cutest papers!  Doesn't this card look like it has a real chocolate bunny on it?
SSsoooooo CUTE!

There are many pieces to all of Moxxie's collections.  There are several double sided papers, die-cuts and stickers.  I picked my pieces from the "Spring Has Sprung" collection.  I picked "Cottontail", *he is just too sweet* "Spring Fling" *such a pretty blue* and "Bluebird" *i think it looks like dyed Easter eggs* as my papers and the Double Sided Die-Cuts border *that looks like a fence*.  I also got my Easter stamps (sorry I don't remember who made them), Ranger Distress Ink "Evergreen Bough", Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive and a water brush.  I took out ribbon, but didn't use it.

I cut and layered all of the papers on a card base and stamped "Easter" at the top.  Then, I colored the greenery on the fence with the same ink and a water brush. I adhered it across the bottom of the card.  I had to, literally be restrained hold myself back from adding splashes of paint, ribbons, gauze, buttons, ink..... you get the point.  But I wanted the artwork on the paper speak for its self.  It is just that beautiful!!

Thanks for visiting!  Please look for Moxxie products in your Local Scrapbook Store or online.  I know Scrapbook.com and other online shopping sites carry Moxxie.

Have an amazing day!
