HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

I know it is the second of January, but if I wasn't late you would think an impostor wrote this!!!

I hope all of you had wonderful holidays, filled with blessings and joy!!!

Our holidays were wonderful.  I love it when my boys are home from school.  But, now they are back in school, the craziness of the holidays is over, and I can resume my "normal" life.  Get back into my regular routine. *snort*  If only my "routine" was regular!!!  Then, I wouldn't post stuff like "I'm so behind" or "I have so much to do" or "I don't know how I will get all of this done!!"

So this year, one of my resolutions is to have better time management.  Lets see how that goes.  At least I am going to make a conscious effort.  I will fall off of this wagon once a week I'm so sure!!  But I will get back on it!!  I need to make a habit of being time conscious.  I am already time conscious of time if I have an appointment to get to.  I also keep my car clock 5 minutes ahead so I'm never late.  But at home?  Not so much.  Too much temptation!!  Phone, TV, computer, couch, bed.  I could list another 40 distractions, but I don't want to give all my secrets up!!!

Did you make a resolution this year?  How long do you think you will keep it for????

  1. LOL- If you learn to master time management maybe I will send my hubby so you can train him. I tell him a half hour difference when I want him to be somewhere on time- that way he will only be 15 minutes late...lol

You just keep coming here and posting and you can wish me a Merry Christmas in February for all I care. I hope you take good care of yourself and don't get too tired or stressed.

My resolution is to finish cleaning out the basement area and disposing of all the clutter in my life-or at least a good portion of it. I'll let you know how that is going down the road a bit. xo Diana

  2. Happy New Year Daniella! It's so good to see you :)

Time management...whew that's a biggy :P I too could use some training in that. I'm so guilty of farting around sometimes. I'm not a resolution maker, because I don't like to fail. I know it's silly, but that's the way I think lol.

I'd like to get my craft room in order this year...more so than it has been anyway. That is my goal for this month.

Can't wait to see what you are working on, and I better get to work myself so I have some things to post!

    Big hug,
    Della

  4. Happy New Year! Rather than resolutions, I've decided to depend on monthly goals. Much easier, I think....

  5. Very funny about the imposter notion my friend. I do not make resolutions as I do not want the added pressure. I know all too well what I need to and should do each day. Here's to lots of creative time and managed to fit you...

  6. You sound quite confident in your resolutions and quite real! I usually don't make resolutions but reading all the blogs talking about resolutions I have to say its inspiring me.If I would resolve to change anything it would be trying to focus on each task I do and not trying to multi task, I wish you a Happy New Year my friend,

  7. Managing your time, sounds like a fine plan!
That's what I hope to do as well because I'm so anxious to finish some projects started last
year & start new ones. I have so many things
on my mind...painting, sewing & shopping for
vintage items! The weather is cold & cloudy &
I need SunShine to motivate me.
Wishing you a wonderful 2013 filled with good things & those you love. Hugs, maki
