WOYWW

Welcome to my desk!  If you are here, you must have come from Julia's blog.  She is the Queen of WOYWW!

First, I want to show you the Iris Folded Heart I made for Niji/Yasutomo Company.  I did a whole tutorial on Iris Folding without a pattern on the Niji Blog.  I'd love it if you checked it out!!

Here is my desk.  Not to messy.  The Iris Folding is not a messy technique.  The reverse side looks like a mess, but the process isn't too messy.  My tape is out (of course) and my scissors.  The patterns I drew to come up with my design and my white eraser!  Pretty tidy this week.

Thanks for visiting me this week!  Next week I will be having a giveaway!!  It is awesome, I can't wait!!

  1. It's been forever since I've made an iris fold. This one is gorgeous. And you are right. There's not much mess involved in the project, either. Happy WOYWW from #1.

  9. Aw that's beautiful - really shows off the lovely papers. I was always told to add or stick something shiny and reflective in the the very centre piece..good feng shui for cards or something? I can't remember the reason!

I love Iris Folding (I have a stack of new patterns on my desk this week, you can see them enough to know what they are but they are there). 25. I didn't get to see anyone till now. We had to take my daughters dog back to Columbus ( a 3hour drive to have his staples out and 3 hours back ) it kinda killed the day you can say. But I got a pack of new markers.. oh I'm so bad! I found the Journal 52 that night and joined .. but it hasn't let me in yet.. says I am but I just get people faces so far. But thanks so much for the link. Here is my cards I got done in # 37 I think the 2nd ones are cute if I do say so for cutes meter. lol Have a great one.
