HAPPY MONDAY!?!?!?!!!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!!  I have been so busy these past few weeks that I haven't been to see your awesome blogs!  Please forgive me *sniffle*!  I will be doing my best to catch up this week!! For sure!!

I made this fun "suitcase" for today.  I spray painted this small Christmas lunch box, and added the fun images from a Dezinaworld's "transport ephemera" collage sheet.

All of the other bits were added for fun, color or dimension..  I got that fleur de lis in a pack of 6 at the craft store for $1!  They are wood, and I will probably use them on everything I make for a while *just kidding maybe*.

ZENTANGLE #39

This weeks prompt at I am the Diva, is "Love is  all you Need".  Laura thought it would be a fitting prompt due to the anniversary of 9/11.

I automatically thought of the shape of a heart, with zentangles in it.  This is my favorite type of tangling.  Using a shape and filling it in.

HALLOWEEN IS COMING!!!

I love Halloween!!  I love fall!!  Pumpkin picking, hay rides, the leaves changing colors and the temperature is perfect!!  And of  course, Halloween too!  I love decorating for Halloween, both outside and inside.  It is just the perfect time of year, I think.

I got a collage sheet to use from the awesome June, owner of  Dezinaworld.  It is called "Witches".  I have made 4 ATC's  using this sheet.  There are more than just 4 witches on the sheet, I just used 4 for now!!  I have a feeling I will be using the rest of them!!!

I used alcohol inks on glossy ATC blanks first, then added the images.  Some of the backgrounds were stamped with regular ink before I added the image, and others I used stamps after I placed the images on.  I finished off with some black and white pearls.

CREATIVE TUESDAY!

This is a quick post for Creative Tuesdays!!

I had a great idea for this prompt "kitchen".  I thought making an apron with a zentangle in it would be fabulous!!
But, not so much.

It shows 4 strings o tie it, and my groovy design in it.  I think it looks stupid.

Then, I noticed that I must have had breakfast on my mind, because the designs look like bacon and eggs!!

Coincidence?  I don't think so!!!!

I am not home right now, and my small son is going to post this and link me up to the party!  I will visit you when I get back!!

SHABBY BLUE

I have a few pieces to show you today, from a collage sheet from Dezinaworld.  I am so lucky to design for them!!  Using collage sheets is one of my favorite things to work with.  The sheet I used is  called "Shabby Blue".
I made 2 things with it.  A small collage, and an ATC..

On the collage, I used a big advertising picture, and a heart from the sheet.  Then, for the ATC I used another advertising picture and a book bundle image.  There were so many pretty images, it was hard to stop at only 2 pieces!!  Dezinaworld has fabulous collage sheets, and on Friday's, there are freebies at the blog.  Some sheets are as low as $1.  Check them out if you love collage sheets as much as I do!

FUN DAY MONDAY!

What a day to have a not serious fun post!  My posts lately have been crazy, and today it's finally quiet!

First, Cindy Adkins started a new blog called Shabby Chic Girls Club.  It is such a cute blog!  And if you love shabby chic style you have to go visit!!!  Today, I am one of the people she is featuring.  If you remember my  cabinet re-do, that is what she is featuring!

Today at Shabby Chic Girls Club, we are taking a virtual trip to Paris, through the art featured!  Totally fun, go check it out!!

Then, the Lovely Dee from A Lapin Life,did a blog post about some things I sent her.  If you remember, I won a FABULOUS burlap sack from her!!  The least I could do is send her something back.  She is awesome and if you've never been to her blog, please go visit!  It is THAT awesome!!!  

PINK SATURDAY!!

Finally, I can post something!!

Yesterday's post was a draft, and I was going to post it myself.  But we were flooded!!  The kids got home at 10am because the bus couldn't make it to school, and they had to turn around.  It is crazy here with this weather!!  I had no internet, or phone, so I was lucky enough to have small son get internet on his phone, and get that zentangle up!!  Too crazy here.  An earthquake, a tropical storm and a hurricane?  wow.

SO, for Sweet Beverly's Pink Saturday  I am showing my cloche again.  Sorry for the repeat!!  I'm trying to get my stuff together!!!
