This prompt was "Rooftop". How the heck am I going to do that???? So I thought on it for 12 of the 14 days, and finally came up with this.
I came up with the idea "look up" out of no where, and decided to take pictures of the rooftops in my neighborhood. I went up stairs, and took pics from that window. Then, I found this wonderful picture of a mermaid looking up. This plan is coming together!! I started by using my watercolor crayons, and blending them. Then, I used blue ad white spray inks. When everything was dry, I doodled all around the page. I glued on my rooftop pics, and put a doily behind my mermaid. I even used some birds to cut out an put on the rooftops, and I used some wings on the mermaid too. The last thing I did was cut the letters for look up and Fly, out of a magazine. Of course, the "FLY" looks like "FNY", but that's how it goes sometimes, right?????
SO, I am off to Creative Tuesday now, to look at everyone's beautiful work!! I hope you come to see it too!
