flowers! The challenge is "May Flowers"
You could win this awesome prize!!
Next I used the Recycled Color Pencils to color the flowers. I started with yellow in the
center and worked my out, then I colored pink and finished with dark pink. When you color
with pencils you should color in circles so you don't get lines in your coloring.
I also colored a little bit of pink pencil on the cheeks of the face. There is no way to do that
without leaving some circular marks. In the picture above, I pointed out the cheek color and
the lines in the flower. No matter how hard I try, there are always some marks. And I have
a solution! Use a paper towel and "buff" you coloring!
Just take the paper towel and put it around your finger and "buff" the coloring! It makes
your coloring positively shine! And the Recycled Color Pencils by Tombow are AWESOME
to use! They are so soft and they color wonderfully!
When I was done coloring and buffing, I cut a piece of patterned paper and attached the
flowers. I cut some of the leaves off of the flowers and adhered them in different areas too.
This was a super fun project to make and I love how it turned out!!
Now, it's your turn!
11th through Sunday May 24th at 11:55 pm EST to enter. The winner will be announced on
Tuesday May 26th right here on the Tombow blog!
Good Luck!!

Brilliant use of your Big Flower Stamps! She looks ready for a Luau night of fun dancing. Creative Bliss Miss Creative...
ReplyDeleteI have a face stamp like that from Stampendous, that I won.....but haven't ever used. (I am soooooo baaaaaaaad!!!) It came with a flower, also, but I really love your own flowers because they have leaves, too! :) Making a lady with a head full of flowers isn't quite my style, but I always love seeing your coloring techniques. That delicate hint of blush is wonderful!!! Now....how can I use that lady face stamp????????
