MAKE CARDS WITH YOUR MIXED MEDIA BACKGROUND

Last month, I blogged about Making Your Own Mixed Media Backgrounds for Bella Crafts Publishing.  This month I talked about making cards with your backgrounds.
Talk about taking it to the next level, right?  I am in LOVE with how these cards turned out!

On the left, all I needed was a white marker and on the right, I used one of my "Big Bold Blossoms" Stamps (and lots of other things).  You can see my full tutorial on the
Bella Blog now!!

I hope this shows you just 1 of the million possibilities you have when you make your own backgrounds.  And if you are interested, I highlighted the link to my new stamps too!!

Keep being awesome!

  2. I loved your post last month about doing these backgrounds because I have so much fun doing backgrounds, too. I laugh abt having a craft table full of backgrounds ready to be made into cards. Who has time??? Ha.

I really love your card with the diecuts on it. I only recently thought of doing something like that!! I had this one background sitting around like for-ehhhverrrrr and (brilliant flash!!!) I thought about stamping and fussy cutting it! Same idea as diecutting. LOVED how it turned out.

I am always inspired by your work, Daniella! The post you referenced from last month was my inspiration for making my own tags from leftover scraps of my background sheets. I should have credited you on that post!!!
