TOMBOW USA AND STAMPENDOUS BLOG HOP!!

Hi and welcome to the Tombow USA and Stampendous blog hop!  You probably came here from Pam Hornschu's blog but if you need to start at the beginning, go to the Stampendous blog to start!!

You could WIN and AWESOME prize!!  There will be 2 prize packages that include:

A roll of Tombow Foam Tape

Your choice from Stampendous Create Fall, Create Christmas, Create Winter or Create a Poinsettia Cling Stamp set and Matching Dies

I got to use some AMAZING Stampendous products and Tombow products for this card.

Isn't it cute??  I wrote the word Pumpkins with my Tombow Dual brush Pen (Black) and went over the thick lines with my Tombow Mono Glue Pen and added some Black glitter from the  Stampendous Fall Micro Glitter Kit.  Then, I stamped the pumpkins, faces, leaves and stems, from the Create Fall Stamp Set on white cardstock and colored them with several different colors of Tombow Dual Brush Pens.  I chose several of each color to try to get some depth of color on the images.  Next, I die cut the images with the Create Fall Die Cut Set and adhered them to the card with Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive.  I also added more stamping around the card.  To finish I used my glue pen again on the lines in the leaves and added more Micro Glitter.

6"X9" ENVELOPE ALBUM PRINTABLE. DT PROJECT FOR Jen Of Eve Designs

I am designing for Jen of Eve Designs now and she makes awesome printables!  Her Etsy Shop is filled with beautiful printables and gorgeous handmade books.  Her latest printable is a 6" x 9" Printable Envelope Album.  This collection is so cool because you get 12 pages of blank templates that you can use with your own paper and 12 pages that have a design on them.  It's like 2 for the price of 1!!

I used the blank template pages on my own patterned paper for my book.

I also made a video about how I made it and it shows interesting ways to sew in pockets.  I hope you check out!!

Thanks and have an awesome day!!

INSPIRED BY MUSIC WEEK ON THE TOMBOW USA BLOG!

Since September is Classical Music Month and National Piano Month, "Inspired By Music" seemed like the perfect theme for this week!  I made a super easy, DIY Home Decorating project.

SUPPLIES:

My son plays the trumpet so I have old sheet music books of his.  I photocopied a page from one of those books onto white cardstock and cut it to fit my frame.  Then I go my Tombow Dual Brush Pens and my Tombow OLNO Mechanical pencil out and got to work!

I made a half inch border all around the sheet music with my OLNO pencil.  This pencil is soooo awesome! It has a super comfortable grip and you only need to bend the pencil a little to get more lead!  You can also use the pencil top to get more lead. There is an eraser in the top too. This is a great all around pencil!  I also made some lines so I could keep my words evenly spaced.

I love lettering and have been practicing it for years.  BUT, I am still chicken.  I always write in pencil before committing to ink.  I am still practicing and will be for a long time.  So I wrote my words with my OLNO pencil and went over it with my black Dual Brush Pen.  Getting thick and thin lines is really easy with the brush side of the dual brush pen.  It makes lettering so much easier!

I colored in the open areas in the sheet music with a yellow Dual brush Pen, so it would look like sunshine!
A little DIY project like this one for "Inspired By Music" week is so easy and makes such a nice accent to a shelf, bookcase or table. Every time someone in your family looks at it, they will know they are your sunshine!!  I hope you try a project like this for yourself.  There are tons of sites online that you can get free sheet music from.  And try the OLNO pencil and Dual Brush Pens out too!!  You will love them!!
