PINK SATURDAY!!

Happy Pink Saturday everyone!!  Thank you Beverly for hosting each week!!  You are awesome!!

Now, I have big news!!  It really is awesome!!  A few weeks ago, I got an email from Liz from My Memories,  My Memories is a digital scrapbook/collage/card making/ tons of stuff software.  Now, you all know I don't know the first thing about computers, digital, anything.  But, I was  interested and wanted to try it.

Then, yahoo decided to FORCE me to switch to the "new" mail and most of my stuff was gone!!!  So, time goes by and I see my blog pal Gabriela got the same email to try it!!  So, I asked her to help get me in touch with Liz.  She did, and here we are.  I tried this digital software and OH MY HECK!!  Check me out now!

How ya like me now?!?!?!  I can make digital art!!

This is amazing for me.  As you all know, I can hardly edit my pictures!  It took me 3years to figure out how to put my name on my stuff!  Now, not only can I do things like this, I can use this software to make scrapbook pages, cards, banners, the sky's the limit!!

UGH SORRY!!

I have been sick for a week.  I didn't want to be a drag and blog about it,  but now I am messing things up, so I had to confess.

You know I have the honor of designing for the company Dezinaworld, and I love it!!  I get these beautiful collage sheets to work with every month, and that is my favorite thing to use.  June, the owner is so nice!  I don't even have to produce all the time!!   It is a pleasure to be part of her company!!

And today, I was supposed to show off my piece that I made with my "dreamy" collage sheet, and I forgot!  My head is killing me and my nose is running and I am coughing, and it totally slipped my mind!  I have to get rid of this cold!

So here is my piece.  It is my favorite thing to make, a tag. and I love the image.  So soft and romantic.

I will have blog posts up tomorrow and Friday;  I will see you then, promise!!

HALLOWEEN FUN!!!

I have seen so many bloggers already decorating for fall!  I love fall.  It is the best time of year if you ask me.  

I got this fun trick or treat collage sheet from Dezinaworld.  I was so excited to use it!!  I had this little tray that I was dying to decorate!!

The sheet was full of images.  I made this little scene in my tray.  I hung the banner across the top, like it was a Halloween dance.

Would you say yes if a gentleman in a pumpkin head asked you to dance?

ZENTANGLE #40

This is Zentangle #40 at I Am The Diva.  This weeks prompt was "Pinwheels for Peace".  She even showed us a pinwheel to use as out outline.  Here is my pinwheel.

As you know, I am still a beginner at this.  And because of that, I need to get to know the patterns associated with Zentangles.  So I went to this site that Terrie from Creative Explorer told me to check out.  It is called Tangled Patterns, and they list all of the patterns alphabetically.  So, since this week was my 20TH wedding anniversary, I used my husbands name (Carl) to find my patterns. WINGED BEAUTIES

I have made 2 pieces using Dezinaworld's awesome sheets!!  These are beautiful ladies, and wings.  Now, I don't do ANY digital stuff.  You are lucky that I figured out how to get a signature on my work, I am that bad.  But June had this idea, that you can use the wings sheet digitally, and they would be transparent, or you could add them to the ladies and make fairies!!  So that is what I did.

How fun is that?  Make your own fairy!!  The first one is an atc, and the second was a little too big to be an atc, but it is close enough!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!!  I have been so busy these past few weeks that I haven't been to see your awesome blogs!  Please forgive me *sniffle*!  I will be doing my best to catch up this week!! For sure!!

I made this fun "suitcase" for today.  I spray painted this small Christmas lunch box, and added the fun images from a Dezinaworld's "transport ephemera" collage sheet.

All of the other bits were added for fun, color or dimension..  I got that fleur de lis in a pack of 6 at the craft store for $1!  They are wood, and I will probably use them on everything I make for a while *just kidding maybe*.

ZENTANGLE #39

This weeks prompt at I am the Diva, is "Love is  all you Need".  Laura thought it would be a fitting prompt due to the anniversary of 9/11.

I automatically thought of the shape of a heart, with zentangles in it.  This is my favorite type of tangling.  Using a shape and filling it in.
