On Monday, I said I was going to do a post on Tuesday about "Renovating". After thinking about it, I think it will be better for a later time. That being said, lets move on to the reason we are here.
It is WOYWW!!! The day we get to snoop at desks across the globe. Please click the link to find out what it's all about!!!
Here is my desk.
I am still organizing my stamps. The unmounted rubber stamps are being put into CD cases. My husband's step father moved across the country and didn't want to take all of his CD's with him. So he gave them to my husband. Lovely sentiment, but we really aren't into his music. He doesn't read my blog, so I can say that here!! BUT, how handy are the cases! Just take the black part out, instant stamp case!!
And here we have the Hello Kitty's they are offering at Mc Donalds right now. As soon as I saw the commercial on TV, I went there and bought all of them!! We (my family) really don't eat that kind of food. Not that I am above eating fast food!! It is super fun once in a while, but that just isn't our favorite one. Sorry to them, and all of you who love it!! But for Hello Kitty? I will go!!
Now go and enjoy snooping!!
Super stamp storage and those kitties are cuties! Enjoy your week, take care Zo xx 93

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kitty Dolls and love how you are getting all organised with your stamps x
ReplyDeleteI can remember when Jordan (15 now) was little and us having Happy Meals too so we could collect the toys for him :0)
Happy WOYWW Heather # 62
Love the Hello Kitty's, my Grandaughter is named Kitty so we tend to buy lots of stuff for her. The stamp organisation is going well - if I didn't have as many mysel I would join in and get organised.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.

Very smart idea...we spend so much time as crafters organizing our stash...but it is so worthwhile if it helps us create!
ReplyDeleteI'm not big on McDonalds either but those Hello Kitties are sweet!

Thanks for visiting Daniella. I don't sew myself that's why I'm doing the Alchemy course. It's getting a bit scary now as we have started doing stitch samples following on from our design work. I'm determined to master it though.
ReplyDeleteYou have your own talents which you are really good at.
Have a good week.

That's just too funny to go to McDonalds for the Hello Kitty dolls - that really made me smile, in a good way! That is a great idea for storing your stamps, like that one. Just wondering - are you going to 'alter' all the CDs from the boxes........ Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeletePS - thanks for your visit, always lovely to hear from you Daniella
You will love the CD cases for stamp storage. I did this to all of mine last summer and have not regreted it once. On the spine area I labled them and have them stored in decorative boxes from Target. I couldn't believe what a space saver these are.

Love the Kittys but thats so many happy meals to eat! We can't buy them in England, they only come with a meal. I am toying between CCD cases and files to reorganise my stamps. I've got lots of CD cases but then I saw MaryAnne's posts on scraphappenshere.

Awesome Kitty's. I don't do McDonald's either and they won't sell any goodies without food purchased here. I moved all my unmounted stamps into DVD boxes but I also put all of them on foam before I realized I didn't have to! Sorry I haven't been around in a while but life has been playing havoc with computer and crafting time! Thanks for stopping by my desk this week and leaving a comment! Have a great week. Vickie #17
ReplyDeleteHi Daniella,
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm ready to ditch my cds as I listen to pandora on my computer..... I will definitely be saving the cases though! Great idea.
Now, what are you renovating? Guess I'll have to come back and see.....
Thanks for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW

I dont go to McDonalds unless I want a stomach ache LOL it gives me one within 15 mins. I am not really into Hello Kitty either so I dont have to stress out that much that I am missing something. Glad you get a kick out of them. Hey you are using my idea for stamp storage, isn't it great, make sure you number them and catalogue them too. Have fun oh and save the boxes empty ones because they become hard to find eventually, they are now processing the slim line cd boxes.

Sorry to be late popping over to your desk but I was struck down with the dreaded lurgy yesterday and really quite poorly. Getting organised I see. Do join in a challenge, they are great fun. Thanks for visiting me and cheering me up BJ #36
ReplyDeleteAhh, look at all your colorful Miss Kitty's lined up in a row. If that doesn't make you smile, nothing will! Well done on organizing your stamps so neatly, Daniella!
